Yes, Chef!

I realized that 10 years ago, I packed up my knives and chef's coat and walked out of a kitchen in Kansas City, in the middle of a shift, not knowing it would be the last kitchen job I ever had. I moved back to Denver with no money, a cat and a job offer to get paid while I got my estate license.

10 years ago, I also realized I can't pronounce the word 'realtor' correctly. 8 years ago, I started selling with my mom, learning in a luxury real estate market, at a luxury firm, all while hanging out with my bestie. 2.5 years ago, I decided to join the coolest firm in the world and have been painting the town Agency Red ever since.

While I am less than proud of how I quit that job, I can say that it was the best decision for my career and more importantly, my sanity. So, CHEERS to everyone who has helped me along the way - clients, friends & family who get interrupted all the time so I can write an offer at a restaurant, and a special thank you to whoever taught me that 100 acres = 1 hectare. Not all heroes wear capes.
